Brais Patiño López is Counsel of the Litigation and Arbitration Department of RRBS Legal.
He studied Law at the University of La Coruña and, subsequently, MBA and MCF&L at ESADE in Madrid.
With more than 15 years of experience in civil litigation practice, and having worked for two of the most important national law firms, Uría Menéndez and PwC, he focuses his activity mainly on advising in conflicts and litigation in civil, commercial, business and financial matters.
He has advised and defended numerous Spanish and foreign clients in various judicial and arbitration proceedings involving civil, commercial, corporate, real estate, financial, contractual, unfair competition and M&A matters. In this way, he has participated in the resolution of corporate conflicts, challenges to corporate resolutions, disputes arising from the transfer of shares, liability actions against directors, conflicts arising from collaboration and guarantee contracts, unfair competition actions, litigation arising from industrial property rights, litigation arising from company purchase and sale processes, investment agreements, project finance and company valuation, litigation related to complex banking and insurance companies, etc. He has also been involved in the more traditional litigation practice in matters of real and general contractual rights, such actions for recovery of property rights, the performance of contracts, liability arising from the construction of buildings or the enforcement of guarantees.
In turn, he has assumed the legal representation of various clients in economic criminal proceedings arising from matters associated with his field of expertise.
