Presentation

Mario joined RRBS Legal in April 2022 as Counsel in the Litigation and Arbitration Department. Previously, he developed his career for fourteen years in the Litigation and Arbitration Department of PwC Tax & Legal Services.

With more than 15 years of experience in litigation, Mario has been involved in top-level arbitration and court proceedings, at all levels, in defence of national and multinational clients in a wide range of sectors, but with a particular focus on finance and banking, construction and infrastructure, and telecommunications. His experience in civil and commercial litigation includes disputes related to agency agreements, distribution, sales contracts, EPC, supply contracts, validity, interpretation and enforcement of civil and commercial contracts, abusive clauses, shareholders´ conflicts, director´s liability, challenging of company resolutions and abuse of dominant position, among others.

Mario also has extensive experience in the contentious-administrative field, being involved in proceedings regarding state liability, expropriation, urbanism, contracts with the administration, regulated sectors, rebalancing of concessions, sanctions and reimbursement of regional subsidies and incentives, among others.
